l noticed that there are marks listed for the sheaf toss in 2008 that could probably be
listed as records but, for some reason, are not. These are:
Marcus Ward @ 36' 0" & Jason Johnston @ 32' 3" lf either of these marks were made with legal implements, the Canadian record should be updated. |

My 32'3" is the record right now. Macus' sheaf weighed in just over 16 lb. The record not being reflected on the web page is not a big deal;
we're in the process of putting a sustainable plan in place for web maintenance. Mr. Laidlaw has been overworked and underpaid!!! So, I'm not going to
bug him about it. Hopefully the rest can do the same. Soon the 5-6 outstanding Canadian records will be updated.

i know that it looks like i'm the only one that cares but, as the co-AD at the Claw, l kind'a have a monetary interest in records. We
reward those athletes that set new records at our Games, National, North American, whatever. l'd really hate to tell a person that they had just set a new
Canadian record and they'll have a nice check coming and then to have to contact them later to report that their mark unfortunately was not a new
record!!

I'll look at updating that record - I thought I caught them all from last year but I musta missed the sheaf.
